Bleriot Electric chopper

I combined modern technology with timeless design principles. The concept aimed to redefine two wheels motorcycle mobility with sustainability at its core.
Drawing inspiration from aviation pioneer Louis Blériot, I embarked on designing an electric chopper motorcycle that marries classic aesthetics with modern technology. This project aimed to redefine two-wheeled mobility by integrating sustainable energy solutions into a timeless design.

Task

Develop an electric chopper concept that balances innovation and heritage.

  • Strategy

Design lightweight structures using advanced materials. Integrate electric engine systems for zero-emission rides. go from a concept to real world manufacturable product for scalability in production

  • Design

Computational Modeling, class A surface modeling, rendering, animation, rapid prototyping

  • Client

    Spacetrain industrial design division

01 // Project Overview

What value
did i add ?

By blending historical design elements with modern technology, I created a unique electric chopper concept that stands out in the market. My approach not only honors the legacy of early aviation but also addresses modern sustainability challenges, offering a fresh perspective on motorcycle design.

02 // Challenges

The Problem
I was solving.

Traditional motorcycles often rely on fossil fuels and designs that have remained relatively unchanged for decades. There is a growing need for sustainable transportation solutions that do not compromise on style or performance. This project aimed to fill that gap by offering an electric alternative that appeals to both classic motorcycle enthusiasts and environmentally conscious riders.

03 // Approach

Efficiency
in design.

Historical Research

Delved into Louis Blériot’s design philosophies, particularly his emphasis on simplicity, functionality, and innovation. Studied the Blériot XI, noting its monoplane design and structural integrity.

Design and Development

  1. Conceptualization

Sketched initial designs that fused classic chopper aesthetics with elements inspired by early aircraft.

  2. Digital Modeling

Employed computational modeling to refine the design, ensuring both form and function were optimized.

  3. Prototyping

Created scale models using rapid prototyping techniques to assess ergonomics and visual appeal.

Sustainability Focus

Selected materials and components with low environmental impact, prioritizing recyclability and energy efficiency.

04 // Statistics

05 // Honors

Closing
note.

“Working on this project allowed me to explore the rich history of aviation and translate those principles into a sustainable motorcycle design. It’s been a rewarding journey blending the old with the new.”
